Spring ServiceDayz Event & KidzBinz deliveries to Children’s Dallas and Cook Children’s Medical Center
On March 3rd, 2024 we put together 200+ of the 400+ baskets for Children’s Dallas. Every basket was full of age-specific FUN for every child who was inpatient at Children’s over the Easter holiday.
Our First ServiceDayz Event
Our first ever ServiceDayz Event was held on December 17th, 2023. We completed multiple projects for those most in need in our community.
398 lbs of food was donated
100 blankets were made for CASA of Collin County
119 toiletry kids were delivered to CASA of Collin County
632 snack/cold weather bags were delivered to Austin Street Center & the inclement weather shelter
Go Big & Go GOLD 2023
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and we had a goal to increase awareness and advocacy right here in our community. Our Go GOLD Campaign asked individuals, businesses and schools to commit to Go GOLD for at least one day in September. The City of Dallas kicked us off by lighting up the skyline Gold on September 1st. Our Go GOLD T-shirt sales supported 10 amazing local organizations & provided one way to participate. Additionally, we worked with Dallas ISD middle and high school dance & cheer programs to Go GOLD. Every school program that committed to Go GOLD in September was able to receive gold poms, bows and more from the TeamIzzy Foundation and our friends at CC Dancewear. These items can be reused every September to help make Going GOLD a regular part of school programming. We were blown away by amazing level of participation in our community. Thank you for Going GOLD!
TeamIzzy Foundation Research Endowment supported by Children’s Cancer Fund
We officially created the TeamIzzy Foundation Endowment supported by Children’s Cancer Fund at Children’s Health. We are excited to have this available for various medical teams to use in support of finding a cure and providing more hope!
CCF Gala 2023
On April 21st we attended the Children’s Cancer Fund’s LIGHT IT UP Gala. Last year, our Warrior rolled down the runway, sharing her story with many other kids just like her. This year, we were all there, missing her, but she was with us. David, Izzy’s father, bravely gave the invocation. Izzy’s sisters, Faith & Madeleine, and her friends, Jaci, Lauren & Morgan, performed her solo, reimagined by Rose Yager to open the night in honor of all those who we have lost too soon. Gold and blue confetti fell from the ceiling and we knew Izzy was with us. As one of their 64 sponsors, it was an honor to be in the room alongside patients, their families, volunteers and countless others ready to make a difference for these kids. TeamIzzy Foundation was able to donate over $100,000 to Children’s Cancer Fund thanks to your generous support. At the end of the night, CCF raised a total of $2,000,000.
April 2023 Basket Drive
On April 4th, we were able to deliver 98 baskets & 60 bundles of eggs for patients and families at Children’s Dallas. Each basket was packed full of things Izzy enjoyed & plenty of JOY! We remembered Izzy and her unplanned admission over Easter in 2020 & how something like this could have helped make that stay feel a little more like home. Thank you for you help in making this happen.
February 2023 Kick Off Event
On February 17th, we held our kick off event at The Henry in Dallas. It was an incredibly successful night, with lots of wonderful friends and family around us. Thank you to everyone who made it out there, and all of you who supported us near and far. Our campaign continued through April 9th and all donations were matched! Together we raised over $700,000. We are off to an incredible start! THANK YOU
